"Today ... the taste of this" for 3rd consecutive year, was again nominated in the 12 National Awards "Gaviota de Oro" 2010, Argentina organized by the Society of Professional Artists (SADAP) in the category "Best Rock and music program for young people." The awards ceremony and dinner for fellowship, will take place on Friday 04 March in the city of Mar del Plata, in the excellent facilities of "Tio Curzio (Cascade Room), located beside the sea, at the intersection of Av Peralta Ramos and Columbus Av.
is a real pride for all who are part of the program, to be nominated for an award as prestigious as the "Golden Gaviotas" where participating, radio and television programs across the country. Moreover, the fact have received this nomination for the 3rd consecutive year.
In the last edition of "Gaviota de Oro" (the 11th), our program had received 2 nominations in the categories (09) "Best Rock and Youth Music" and (35) "Best Male Lead Musical" by work of its conductor Gabriel Bertino, who eventually was awarded a special mention, along with Pedro Jose Traverso and Rogelio Tixe America FM 94.5 Mhz in the city of Rosario, who shared the prize in that category.
Amen to the above, this year our joy is greater, because in addition to repeat nomination in the category (09) "Best Rock Music and Youth", the "special cycles of Today" (project that initially was part of the program and then grew to the verge of independence), also received a nomination in more (17) "Best news program."
"Today's special cycles", born by chance, as part of "Today ... the taste of this" when more than 2 years, decided to make a special block of music dedicated to the different Hispanic singer / songwriters (Melendi , La Mala Rodriguez, Bebe, etc), they decided to include social issues in their songs, especially those related to gender violence.
This simple decision was the trigger that started a much more, including interviews, special investigations, reports, debates and news coverage, both nationally and internationally, which ended in a different and new project.
In the "special cycles" devoted many issues to the theme of "gender violence", then continue with the "Child Abuse", "Fili-parental violence," the "Drug dependence", the "juvenile criminal law "the" Internet Abuse "and some other issues that had a lot of impact on our audience.
Needless to say that beyond the pleasure it causes us, producing and airing a program that allows one hand to be communicated to our audience and on the other provide some assistance to help put on table, such important issues as those addressed, it is also very gratifying to receive an objective confirmation of this nomination as important as, indeed, a very serious and competitive category as the "Best news program." Amen
of all this, we also want to say explicitly that our honor is twofold, as "Today ... the taste of this" not alone in this adventure, since March 4 will be accompanied by people of "almost normal", the program of Digital FM 92.5 MHz Cañada de Gómez, led by our great friend and brother Juancho Sosa, nominated the categories of "Best program of rock and youth" and "Best male musical leadership."
